Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 24, 2025
This policy explains how information is handled in Rylor, a luxury ring-stacking and hand-aesthetics community experience serving users in Europe and North America. It applies to the iOS app and related features accessible through utopian.rylor.asia.
1. Data Collection
Information received through the app generally falls into three groups:
- Account and profile details: email address, username, profile preferences, and optional content you choose to publish (such as captions, tags, and stack styling notes).
- Device and technical signals: app version, operating system, language setting, crash diagnostics, device identifiers, and general network metadata used to keep the app stable.
- Usage activity: interactions with the feed, saved inspirations, parameterized tag selections, export actions, and feature engagement trends.
Depending on your choices, the app may request permissions such as photo library access (for uploads or exports), camera access (for try-on or content creation), and approximate location data (for regional personalization). Contact access is not required for core use unless an optional social feature asks for it.
Rylor may also integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) that support analytics, infrastructure performance, and safety controls. These integrations may process technical or behavioral data under their own terms.
2. Data Usage
The information above is utilized to operate and improve Rylor, including:
- delivering your feed and recommended ring-stacking inspiration;
- supporting detail tagging, exports, and local try-on related workflows;
- maintaining account security, moderation, and abuse prevention;
- measuring feature performance and resolving technical issues.
Communications may include service notices, policy notices, and support replies. Where local law allows and preferences permit, promotional updates may also be sent; you can opt out from marketing messages at any time.
Data may be shared with service providers that help run the platform (for example, hosting, diagnostics, moderation tooling, or customer support operations). Such sharing is limited to operational needs and governed by contractual safeguards.
3. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on systems operated by Rylor and authorized processors in regions that support our user base and technical operations. Cross-border handling may occur where legally permitted.
Security controls include access restrictions, encrypted transmission channels, monitoring tools, and internal least-privilege practices. No method is perfect, but safeguards are continuously reviewed against current risk patterns.
Retention periods vary by category. Account records and user-generated content are retained while an account is active, then deleted or anonymized according to legal, operational, and dispute-resolution requirements.
4. Third-Party Services
Some app functions rely on external partners that provide technical infrastructure or product support components. These parties may process limited information needed to perform their role, such as telemetry, delivery metrics, fraud signals, or storage events.
External websites or services linked from community content are outside Rylor’s direct control. Reviewing the privacy terms of those destinations is recommended before submitting personal details.
5. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Eligible users may request to:
- access a copy of personal data associated with their account;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete personal data, subject to legal exceptions;
- object to or restrict certain processing activities;
- opt out of specific data-sharing activities where applicable law grants that option.
To exercise these rights, send a request to support@rylor.com using the email connected to your account, or include identity details sufficient for verification. Verified requests are handled within timelines required by relevant law.
6. Children's Privacy
Rylor is designed for adults and is not intended for users under 18 years of age. The platform does not knowingly gather personal information from children.
If it is discovered that information from a minor was submitted, steps will be taken to remove it promptly and disable related account access where appropriate. This approach is aligned with applicable child-data protections, including COPPA-related standards.
7. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time to reflect legal changes, product updates, or operational adjustments. When updates are material, notice may appear in-app, on relevant web pages, or by account communication channels.
The date shown at the top indicates the most recent version. Continued use of the app after an update means the revised terms now apply.
8. Contact Information
